Automation Schedule is built around a simple idea: your home data belongs on your devices, not on someone else's server. This policy explains what that means in practice.
We do not collect personal information from you. Automation Schedule has no account system, no sign-up, and no user profiles. We do not ask for your name, email address, or other contact information.
Automation Schedule uses Apple's HomeKit framework on your iPhone or iPad to show and manage Apple Home automations, scenes, rooms, and related accessory actions. Your Home data is read from and written to Apple's HomeKit database, the same system used by the Home app, and it does not pass through a server operated by us.
Automation Schedule may ask for one-time access to your current location so it can save a home location and place sunrise and sunset automations correctly on the schedule. Saved home location coordinates are stored locally on your device and are used only for sunrise and sunset calculations. They never leave your device.
Automation Schedule does not use analytics, third-party crash reporting, advertising identifiers, or third-party tracking tools.
Automation Schedule does not store your data on our servers. The app may store limited settings locally on your device, such as your selected Apple Home and saved home location coordinates. Your HomeKit automations, scenes, and home configuration are stored by Apple HomeKit and, if you use iCloud, may be synced by Apple according to your iCloud settings. Automation Schedule does not control Apple's syncing or storage.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. We do not collect data to share.
Automation Schedule is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age.
